ITonCommand Community Service Dedication
ITonCommand understands
corporate responsibility. We believe that supporting organizations
that provide valuable
services to the homeless, abused, disabled, ill, or other
persons in need is the right
thing to do. And we encourage our employees to participate
in our volunteer efforts.
In November 2007,
ITonCommand launched a food drive to benefit the Denver Rescue
Mission. The executive team challenged the employees
to "Fill the Ford" with non-perishable foods, clothing, and
other items needed by the Denver Rescue Mission to
support their efforts in aiding the the Denver homeless
community. Our employees did more than
meet the challenge--they doubled our goal! We're
proud and pleased to work with such a giving group of
professionals.
Thank you ITonCommand staff for caring and
sharing!
Upcoming
Community Events:
One of our valued
customers, the American Lung Association, challenged ITonCommand
to participate in the "Run the Republic" on February 24,
2008. "Run the Republic" is
an annual stair climb of the tallest building in the Rocky
Mountain West – the Republic Plaza in downtown Denver.
The building’s stairwell--usually closed to the
public--will be opened to allow participants to climb all the
way to the 53rd floor.
"Run the Republic" raises funds for lung health issues that are
more critical now than ever before. Lung disease is the third
leading cause of death in the United States. While the death
rates of cancer and heart disease are decreasing, deaths from
lung disease are increasing at an alarming rate.
